What is recommended for the students?
In order to be successful in the Vocational Diploma Program there are many expectations we know you can and will live up to in order to succeed! The Vocational Program will take all three trimesters and here is a list of what will be required on a daily basis:
- Attend class DAILY.
- If you miss a class, you will be required to make up hours by working after school and/or from home.
- The only browser tab and window that can be open is Edgenuity. Others may be opened only when specified by the teacher. Students caught with additional browser tabs or windows open will require a conference with the instructor and/or administrator.
- Follow Grand Ledge district technology policy.
- Completing and receiving a passing grade on all activities, labs, lectures, quizzes, tests, and cumulative exams for each course.
- Silence in the lab is necessary for all students to be able to focus and concentrate on their studies.
- Using your headphones to listen to lectures is mandatory.
What is recommended for the students?
- Students are recommended to take notes on the lectures, labs, homework, and practices so that they can refer back to them during tests and quizzes. Teachers will require students to show their notes when students ask for help.
- It is also recommended that students check their progress on the "target completed" bar located under the My Course Info part of their Edgenuity course.
- If students have more than one course to complete, they are encouraged to focus on one course per class session.
- IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ON THE MATERIAL, ASK!!! The teachers are here to help you understand the material.
